EDM Wire is the basic materials for Wire EDM process, made of copper and zinc
alloy and its fine diameter varies from 0.05 thru 0.30mm. To keep EDM Wire generating
stable discharging as an electrode for precisional machining, it requires pure raw
material, high quality casting technique, accurate diameter control and wire surface
treatment to eliminate the surface peeling off leading to abnormal discharge condition.
These are the very essential criteria deciding product competitiveness. EDM Wire is
a quite different from general copper zinc alloyed wire, though it is classified by same
HS code and made of same materials.
